Who we are

Portugal Real Estate runs portugalrealestateforsale.com and decides how the personal data described here is used. You can reach us through our contact page.

What we collect

If you ask for an introduction: your name, email, the area, budget and timing you choose, your phone number if you add it, and the page you sent it from.

If you send a message: your name, email and message.

Analytics: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how you arrived and which agency links you click. It stays off if you turn analytics off in Privacy settings, or if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal.

Why, and on what basis

Introductions: to put you in touch with up to two licensed agencies, based on your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time.

Messages: to answer you, based on our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.

Analytics: to understand which pages are useful, based on our legitimate interest in improving the site. You can turn it off at any time in Privacy settings.

Who we share it with

For an introduction, the agencies we introduce you to, and only after you’ve asked us to.

Service providers who process data for us: Vercel (hosting and form handling), Resend (delivering form emails to us) and Google (analytics, unless you turn it off). Some of them process data outside the European Economic Area under the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

We don’t sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Introduction requests and messages for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then we delete them. Google Analytics data for up to 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to how we use it, to take a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. Use our contact page and we’ll respond within one month.

You can also complain to Portugal’s data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (www.cnpd.pt), or the authority where you live.

Cookies

We use necessary storage to remember your cookie choice, and Google Analytics cookies unless you turn them off. Change your choice any time with Privacy settings at the bottom of every page.
